Abstract

408,661. Furniture joints. WHITFIELDS BEDSTEADS, Ltd., and WHITFIELD, C. G., 109, Watery Lane, Bordesley, Birmingham. Sept. 16, 1932, No. 25814. [Class 52 (ii).] A bedstead joint comprises a spigot member with a tapered head 1 which is received in a correspondingly tapered socket. The spigot member is T-shaped in cross section with the depth of the T and the width of the stem 3 of the T each constant and the depth and width of the head diminishing from top to bottom. The spigot and the socket are welded in position upon the bedstead parts.
