Abstract

406,885. Smallarms. FROMMER, R. VON, 158, Soroksari Ut., Budapest. May 8, 1933, No. 13329. [Class 119.] Magazines of the depending-box type intended for subcalibre cartridges, have cartridge-retaining spring members 3 formed separately from the magazine walls and arranged in front of the usual retaining lips 2 to prevent canting of the bullet ends of the cartridges. The spring members may be formed by the free arms of U-shaped members straddling the magazine, as shown in Fig. 8. The bottom of the magazine is flanged at 6 to fill out the opening in the magazine casing of the weapon.
