Abstract

406,765. Bookmarkers &c. DREVER, R., 5, Byron House, The Park, and MONNICKENDAM, R. H., 12, Montpelier Road, both in Ealing. Sept. 20, 1932, No. 26079. [Class 16.] A bookmarker and page holder comprises a clip 5 for attachment to the cover of the book, carrying two pivoted arms 2, 3, one of which is shorter than the other, and which are mounted on a common pivot and are controlled by a light spring tending to hold them in extended position. The arm 2 is offset relatively to the arm 3, so that the device can be closed up flat, and the arm 2 is formed with a cup-shaped extension 6 through which the pivot pin 1 is passed, and which also serves to contain the controlling spring. The ends of the arms carry extension pieces 4 of transparent material, and these bear against the respective pages of the book.
