Abstract

406,734. Mincing-machines. VICKERS, A., (Representative of VICKERS, W. H.), 48, Elgin Crescent, Notting Hill Gate, London. Sept. 2, 1932, No. 24542. [Class 28 (ii).] The rotary knife of a mincing - machine is ground flat to bear against the perforated disc and each blade of the knife has a scalloped, ratchet toothed, or serrated leading edge and is provided with a rib making the blade equal in thickness to the boss. As shown, the knife has two blades 13, 14 scalloped at 24 and provided with ribs 17, 18 extending substantially throughout the lengths of the blades. The blades are of greater width at the ends than at the boss. In a modification, the knife is provided with four arms.
