Abstract

249,038. Whitmarsh, F. T. Oct. 20, 1925. Cheese. - A curd knife for use in cheese making, comprising a lower cutting part 1 adapted to be drawn through the curd by the aid of a fixed handle 3, is formed with transverse blades on one side, and longitudinal blades on the other side, of a thin central longitudinal division 4 which itself forms a cutting-member. There may also be one or more transverse divisions 5 forming pairs of sections a - - done above another, each pair comprising a section with transverse blades 7 and a section with longitudinal blades 6, and adjacent sections in a longitudinal direction having blades disposed at rightangles to one another.
