Abstract

406,456. Wheel arrangements. EVANS, R. Y. K. N., EVANS, D. K. L. N., and EVANS, J. K. N., King Street, Wednesbury, Staffordshire. Jan. 10, 1933, No. 785. [Class 108 (ii).] In ambulance or other trollies, bedsteads &c. provided with swivelling castors locking rods are disposed to slide parallel with the lugs and operated by a lever fulcrumed to the frame. The vertical rods 6 are pivoted to lever arms 8 pivoted to the frame 10 and connected together at their other ends so that the rods 6 are operated simultaneously. The lathes are guided by brackets 12 and their lower ends are adapted to enter apertures 14 in discs 13 secured to the swivelling castor frames 5. The holes 14 may be 180‹ apart so that the castors may trail in either forward or backward direction.
