406,257. Coin - freed apparatus. WISTOFT, S., Frederiksberg, near Copenhagen. May 17, 1932, No. 14059. Void [Abridged as open to inspection under Sect. 91 of the Acts, Oct. 14, 1932]. [Class 27.] Testing coins.-A weight-testing device comprises an insertion channel 1, Fig. 1, leading to a chamber 4 provided with two channels 2, 3, the channel 3 being in alignment with channel 1 and higher than channel 2. One wall 7 of channel 3 is joined to a wall 6 of channel 2 by a downwardly inclined wall 5. A lever 12 controlled by a spring 14 or an adjustable counterweight 17 is pivoted on a bracket 10 at 11 and projects through an aperture 13 into the top of channel 3. A light coin fails to tilt the lever and tips over into channel 2. A heavy coin depresses the lever and drops through channel 3. In a modification, Fig. 3, the lever 12 is replaced by a blade spring 18.
