404,522. Closures for bottles. RIECK, W. O. P., 11, Alter Teichweg, Hamburg, Germany. May 3, 1933, No. 12882. Convention date, May 4, 1932. [Class 125 (iii).] A bottle closure comprises a narrow strip of metal c the ends of which are connected by a tearable joint d, and a disc upon which the curled upper edge of the strip rests. The lower edge of the strip is curled outwardly initially and provided with crimpings k, and the assembled closure is applied as a crown-cork. The tearable joint may be formed by two interengaging tongues.
