Abstract

403,442. Nozzles. SEVER, W., Armadale, King's Road, Bramhope, Leeds. June 28, 1932, No. 18205. [Class 69 (iii).] A tubular extension to the ordinary rigid spout of a watering-can, preferably made of flexible material such as rubber, is provided with one or more stays for supporting it in use, readily attachable to suitable parts of the can. The flexible extension shown is supported by a metal rod 3 attached to the rose nozzle 10 and having the end 6 formed with loops to engage selectively the teeth of a rack member 4 attached to the spout by means of a ring 9, the nozzle being connected to the handle of the can by a pair of flexible wires 7. The extension may consist of a tubular iron member attached to the spout by means of a rubber sleeve.
