Abstract

727,289. Portable containers. VALOR CO., Ltd. Feb. 26, 1954 [Feb. 28, 1953], No. 5687/53. Class 66. A can 10 is provided with carrying and pouring handles 18, 17 respectively which are connected with one another and form loops in a single structure and the carrying handle 18 embraces and supports, e.g. by a welded joint 21, a pouring spout 19. Preferably the handles and spout are contained in the same vertical plane and the filler orifice is mounted to one side of this plane. As shown the handles 17, 18 are made as loops in one continuous strip of metal secured to the can at the two ends and between the loops.
