887,163. Hand-truck handles. RANSOMES SIMS & JEFFERIES Ltd., and PLUMB, A. B. April 22, 1958 [May 9, 1957], No. 14823/57. Class 108(2). [Also in Group XXIII] A handle for a hand truck or the like is of X plan configuration and consists of lower limbs 1 and upper limbs 6 terminating at the intersection of the X and being there releasably clamped in position by a clip comprising two plates 9, 10 detachably secured together by nuts and bolts 11, 12. The flattened lower ends 2 of the limbs 1 are drilled at 3 to receive fixing bolts. The upper limbs 6 terminate in hand grips 8. In a modification the two lower limbs are made in one continuous piece. In another modification the upper limbs are made in one continuous piece.
