In a temporary fly-over, the sections comprising longitudinal beams 1 and transverse beams 3 are pivoted at 15 to the upper members 7 of adjustable telescopic supports 6, 7. The support members 6, 7 may be secured together by bolts 10 or may screw into one another. The fly-over may be carried by pairs of supports or by single central supports. Various road plans involving the use of the fly-over are shown in Figs. 12, 13 and 18 (not shown).
