Abstract

168,112. Morine, J. P. April 26, 1920. Handles, detachable, for tea-cups, jugs, saucepans, &c. One or two flexible metal bands 6 encircle the vessel, the free ends passing around parts 5 of handleloops 4 and being held between the bands 6 and the body of the vessel. The inner ends of the handleloops are held apart in bends 2 of distance-pieces 1 connected by bars 3 so that when the outer ends are drawn together and secured by a clip 8 the flexible bands 6 are tensioned so as to grip the vessel. If desired the handle-loops may have long extensions to form a bar handle.
