Abstract
403,203. Developing photographic diazotype prints. LEUCH, W. P., and HARDING, Ltd., S. C. & P., Alliance Works, Denmark Hill, London. Oct. 7, 1932, No. 27970. [Class 98 (ii).] Diazotype prints are developed by means of a developer containing boric acid in the presence of an appreciable excess of an alkali carbonate, such as sodium carbonate. The weight of anhydrous sodium carbonate used may be four to seven times the weight of boric acid. Examples are given of developers containing (1) sodium carbonate, boric acid and phloroglucine and (2) potassium carbonate, boric acid, phloroglucine and resorcine. Specification 308,653, [Class 98 (ii), Photographic processes &c.], is referred to.
