[Class 39 (iii).] In an electric heater such as a boiling-plate c the current supply leads d from a step-down transformer are led through a water tank e in order to prevent heat being conducted along the connections to the transformer. The hot plate c may be a double grid as described in Specification 398,810. The tank e may be provided with supply and delivery connections so that the heated water can be used for domestic purposes.
