Electric hot-plates; heating by electricity.-An electric stove or cooking apparatus is fitted with a boiler comprising a shallow flat chamber 15 placed against the lower face of the heating resistance 14 and provided with inlet and outlet pipes 17 for connecting it to a hot-water accumulating tank. The boiler is provided with a radial division between the inlet and outlet pipes formed by an indentation 16. A sheet 20 of asbestos is fitted under the boiler.
