527,759. Electric heating. PRIMROSE, J. S. A. May 20, 1939, No. 15097. [Class 39 (iii)] In a single pipe hot water supply system having no provision for circulation, the drawoff pipes are provided with thermostatically controlled electric heating devices to maintain heated the water in the pipes during periods when it is not being drawn off. The heater may be a strip 15 buried in the heat insulating lagging 17 and controlled by an internal or external thermostat 16, or may be an immersed heating element 15a.
