[Class 53.] The grids, envelopes, or tubes of the positive electrodes of the accumulator of the parent Specification are made of nickel-plated rustless steel or of steel or iron which has been plated with alternate layers of nickel and chromium or nickel and cadmium. When the final and outer layer of nickel has been plated on the envelope &c. the article is annealed in hydrogen. The container is made of nickel-plated rustless steel. According to the Provisional Specification the envelopes &c. may be made of pure nickel.
