[Class 89 (ii).] Boxes of the type having three or more parts hinged and bound together by means of flanged metal binding-strips and with grooves or channels for the reception of the two end parts of the box formed between the flanges of the metal strips and the bound parts of the box, have the end parts a, Fig. 1, provided at their side edges with lugs c<1> engaging with two opposite sides b of the box so that they cannot fall apart. Alternative formations of the lug c<1> are shown in Figs. 3, 4 and 6.
