401,424. Boot &c. fastenings. STAUDE, J., Gross-Sch÷nau, Czecho-Slovakia, and PETZOLD, F. A., Herzogenrath, near Aix-la-Chapelle, Germany. July 5, 1932, No. 19055. Convention date, July 6, 1931. [Classes 17 (ii) and 43.] In boot &c. fastenings, elastic loops bare passed through and secured in eyelet-holes c and are adapted to be connected in pairs across the front of the upper. The loops may be of rubber, and may carry studs d at one end which are seated in the eyelet-holes. The loops are engaged by hooked ends of metal fastenings a, one hook being bent almost to form a closed eye and the other being more open so as to facilitate attachment.
