[Class 17 (ii).] Fastening.-A strap c of the kind which is engaged by the shoe fastening lace b to draw the shoe around the ankle is disposed outside the upper between the upper and a strip e, which is connected along its edges to the shoe, and is independent of the back strap of the shoe. The strap may be slightly extensible, and may be fixed in the tunnel at the back of the shoe.
