Abstract

400,467. Road vehicles ; vehicle doors. KONTESCHWELLER, M., 54, New Street, Chelmsford. Jan. 25, 1933, No. 2429. [Classes 103 (ii) and 108 (i).] In saloon vehicle bodies having a flat bottom semi-streamline in side elevation and streamline contour in plan the front of the body has the shape of two planes sloping rearwardly and upwardly and meeting at an obtuse angle in a central upwardly and rearwardly sloping edge, a front door forming preferably one of these planes. The car body is provided with a flat bottom 2, a streamline elevation with the broadest part in front, and shaped as shown in plan. Two seats 6, 7 are provided at the front and cne or more doors 11 are sloped as shown so that the passenger can stand upright at the door entrance. The car is provided with the steerable and driven wheels 8, 9 in front and a rear wheel 10 which may be single or double and sprung in any suitable manner. Headlamps 13 are provided as shown in the door 11 or body, and all the accessories are preferably housed in the rear of the body.
