Abstract

400,071.. Powder blowers. JONES, T. D., 28, Cedar Street, Hightown, and SINGLETON, R., 47, Kearsley Road, Crumpsall, both in Manchester. March 6, 1933, No. 6776. [Class 18.] A powder distributer comprises a casing 1 adapted to contain the powder to be sprayed, an outlet at one end of the casing consisting of a jet 7 for the discharge of air &c. surrounded by an annular jet 16 for the emission of powder and means, e.g. a propeller 13, 14 taking air from the tube 15 and rotating in the manner of an impeller turbine within the casing for progressing powder contained therein to the annular jet. Air &c. admission to the distributer is governed by a lever 9 of press valve 8 attached to the hollow handle 17.
