[Class 69 (iii)] Apparatus for distributing water &c. in the form of mist, e.g. for cooling or moistening the atmosphere comprises a reservoir from which liquid is delivered in drops into the path of the blades d of a rotary fan which is provided with additional beaters k mounted either on the blades or on separate arms. The liquid may be regulably delivered to a ring provided with jets j delivering liquid in a direction parallel to the axis of the fan, and the fan may be driven by an electric or other motor mounted co-axially within an annular reservoir a.
