Abstract

399,789. Vacuum cleaners. STEUDEL, W., (trading as JACOB, GEB.), 3, Sp÷rl. strasse, Gera, Germany. March 8, 1932, No. 6957. [Class 8 (i).] A portable vacuum cleaner comprises a unitary casing 1 in which is secured a partition 4 carrying on one side of it the motor 5 and on the other side the fan 7. The casing is closed by a plate 9 carrying the nozzle 10 to which the tools are attached. The partition 4 carries shields 15 which partially close the openings 16 through which the cooling air supplied by the fan 6 escapes. The socket 13 receives the handle 12.
