537,988. Vacuum cleaners. HOOVER, Ltd. Jan. 15, 1940, No. 889. Convention date, Jan. 29, 1939. [Class 8 (i)] The motor of a suction cleaner is cooled by air drawn over it by an auxiliary fan 12, and forced by the fan over the lamp 14, where a lamp is provided, and through openings 16 in the casing to pockets containing the wheels. The motor is contained in a hood 18 having air inlet holes 21 and a lamp window 20.
