Abstract
397,738. Rolls for cold rolling. KRUPP AKT.-GES., F., Essen, Germany. Dec. 13, 1932, No. 35346. Convention date, Dec. 30, 1931. [Class 83 (iv).] In rolls provided with a bore for the passage of cooling water the bore is protected against corrosion. Protection may be afforded by a tubular lining of rustproof material, e.g. copper, tin, or stainless steel inserted in the bore, or by coating the bore with heat-resisting varnish or with a rust-proof metal, e.g. tin, copper or aluminium applied by means 'of a spraying process or electrolytically.
