[Class 12 (i).] The hub 2 of a screw propeller is mounted upon the splined shaft 1 of a nut 4 and cones 5, 6. The hub is formed with rings 8 carrying double conical roller bearings 9 enclosed by a split casing 11. Between the rollers a flange 13 of the blade holder 14 is mounted. Springs 10 are interposed between the rings 8 and the bearings.
