[Class 44.] A sliding-clasp fastening of the type in which two rows of interlocking fastener elements are adapted to be connected and disconnected by a slider has the slider provided on both sides with tabs 2, 3 attached to substantially central lugs 4, 5 so that the tabs can pivot in the direction of movement of the slider. The lugs may be formed by the heads of a central strengthening rivet extending through the slider.
