Abstract

396,114. Surgical irrigators and hotwater bags. REDSTONE, S., 10, India Street, Glasgow. Jan. 30, 1933, No. 2910/32. [Class 81 (ii).] A rubber hot-water;bag 1 adapted for use as a surgical irrigator is of kidney shape and is provided with a screw-nipple 3 to which may be attached a tap fitting 4 carrying a nozzle 5 for injection of liquid under the weight of the patient. The fitting 4 may be replaced by a screw cap and the bag used as an ordinary hot-water bag, or, when suspended by a loop 6, as a hydrostatic irrigator, an injection tube, provided with a nozzle and a regulator as described in Specification 389,957, [Group XXIX], being screwed into the filling aperture 2. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 315,555, [Class 81 (ii), Medical &c. appliances.]
