[Class 75 (iii).] A slide B is provided with a pawl C for engaging a ratchet wheel D to rotate the friction-wheel E and ignite the wick burner G and with a pin K for simultaneously raising the pivoted wick cap carrier M against the action of its spring J<2>, the parts being returned by the spring to the normal position on releasing the slide. The spindles J, J<1> are journalled in the walls of the casing A and retained in position by a cover L having an opening for the carrier M. The wick cap M<2> is loosely mounted in a countersunk hole in a lower plate M<1>. Ventilation holes N may be provided. According to the Provisional Specification, the slide forms the cover.
