[Class 75 (iii).] The fuel container b is pivoted at b<1> in a case a and normally held therein by a flap q on a wick-cap carrier i mounted on the axle h of, and connected with, the friction wheel g. On rocking a lever s by depressing the projection t, the carrier i is released and swung upwardly by a spring k thereby rotating the wheel g for igniting the wick. The container may be retained in the case by the fingers so that the case acts as a windscreen or it may be released to swing outwardly under the action of a spring r for facilitating the lighting of pipes &c. The wick-cap m is carried by a yoke mounted in slots o in the carrier and is acted upon by a spring p so as to cover the wick holder provided on the inclined top wall of the container.
