395,650. Centrifugal spinning- apparatus for artificial silk. BARMER MASCHINENFABRIK AKT.-GES., 12, Mohrenstrasse, Oberbarmen, Wuppertal, Germany. March 6, 1933, No. 6786. Convention date, April 27, 1932. [Class 120 (ii).] The guide funnels of centrifugal spinning-apparatus for artificial silk are oscillated by a cam 2 adjustably pivoted on an axle 4 on a hub driven from a rapidly rotating shaft 18 through worm-gearing 3, the cam engaging directly with the funnel framework 7, 8 which is suspended from a beam 15 by springs 16, 17. Each cam 2 serves two adjacent frames and is adjusted and secured in position about its pivot by screws 5, 6.
