393,815. Cans &c. BAGGOTT, A. I., Santa Elena, Entre Rios, Argentine. Sept. 20, 1932, No. 26160. [Class 66.] The filling opening of a can &c. is closed by a cap having a dished centre portion H disposed within the opening, the turned down edge F of the cap being soldered into an annular groove A surrounding the opening, exhaustion of the contents being effected through one or more vent apertures G which are subsequently sealed by solder, the apertures being disposed above a second groove B to prevent solder or flux from falling into the contents. A single groove or corrugation may replace the grooves A, B or more than two grooves may be provided.
