[Class 5 (ii).] Water from a low-pressure supply is carried to a trough 3 through a tube connected to the top of an inverted vessel 5 mounted in the trough, the water entering the vessel through a valve at the top opened and closed by a valve head 14 of conical shape mounted near the lower end of a valve stem 13, the conical head closing an opening in a flexible seating 9 in the valve when moved up by the rise of a float 16 in the trough, the valve stem and head not being connected to the float. The trough 3 is of circular shape and is provided with an upright member 4 having an opening for a hook or other support. The inverted vessel 5 has a loop 6 passing over this member 4 and may be fitted with an overhanging cover to protect the water below.
