Abstract

391,384. Hand-trucks ; slaughtering- benches. GROHS, F., Braunsdorf, Czecho- Slovakia. Nov. 14, 1932, No. 32168. [Class 108 (i).] A transportable slaughtering-bench is provided with an oscillatable frame by means of which the slaughtered animal may be brought into suspended position for disembowelling. The transportable slaughtering-bench comprises a wheeled frame having a trough-shaped table plate 1 which may be hinged at the side to the frame, the table plate 1 being apertured or slatted to permit blood and offal to pass into containers 14. On the table plate an adjustable trough 3 is provided into which the animal may be inserted and held by means of a chain 3a. In addition a frame 7 having hooks 9, by which the animal may be secured, is provided and adapted to be tilted to an upright position by gears 10, 11 and handle 13 so that the animal may be quartered &c. when hung as shown in Fig. 2.
