Abstract

588,039. Sifting. TILKE, G. F. Aug. 8, 1944, No. 15088. [Class 117] A portable sifter comprises in combination a stand 3 and a sieve 8 which is carried on wheels 14 and can be pushed manually to and fro on rails formed by the sides of the stand and can be readily removed therefrom for emptying. Plates 17 are provided at the end of the frame with slots 18 in which pins 19 on the sieve engage. The sieve can then be turned over as shown by the dotted lines for emptying. The bottom of the sieve is of expanded metal and can be removed.
