Abstract

909,565. Hand trucks. PYE, D. R. M. Oct. 3, 1960 [July 3, 1959], No. 23001/59. Class 108(1). Apparatus which may be used to support a lawn mower having front and rear rollers or as a wheelbarrow, comprises a singlewheeled frame adjustably mounting a forward mower roller support 14, and a longitudinally and vertically adjustable cross frame padded abutment member 23 which may be engaged by lifting the mower by its handles so that the rear roller 24 engages and lifts the member 23 and permits the mower and apparatus to be wheeled off together. The frame removably mounts a padded grass box carrier 33, 34, and legs 9, 10 cross tied by a bar 11 and having feet 9a, 10a are also provided. In modification the grass box carrier is removed and replaced by a wheelbarrow body 39, Fig. 6, having side members 41, extending handles 40, and rear legs, the body being bolted through holes 36a, 36 to frame members 11, 37. In Fig. 5 (not shown) the member 23 is modified so that its cross member extends outwardly at the sides for engagement with side members of the mower.
