Abstract
390,471. Bottle stoppers. LAWSON, L. L., Kittitas, and SAND, P., 636, W. 51st Street, Seattle, both in Washington, U.S.A. Jan. 2, 1933, No. 88. Convention date, Jan. 16, 1932. [Classes 125 (i) and 125 (iii).] In a one-piece elastic bottle stopper, of the kind having a flange with a concave underside which fits over the edge of the bottle, the head of the stopper is solid and a bore or recess is formed in the lower end of the stopper to about the level of the said flange. As shown, the head is of mushroom shape and the bore is provided with strengthening ribs 11. A wire or the like may be passed through the head to extend into the bottle, said wire having at its end a cup to collect sediment or the like.
