[Class 103 (vi).] In articulated railway vehicles the abutting parts of the vehicles are mounted on single-axle bogies in such a manner that on travelling on a curve the bogies are radially controlled without it being necessary that the central axis of the vehicle part should be tangential to the central curve of the track. The supporting bogie is pivotally connected to one vehicle part a at b which may be in front of, behind or coincident with the wheel axle d and an arm c of the bogie has an axial or sliding connection g with the other vehicle part a, the vehicle parts a, a<1> or a<1>, a<2> being articulated at e or e<1>. As shown, the central axis of the vehicle part a<1> is not tangential to the curved truck. Fig. 3 shows also the manner in which the supporting bogie is connected to the end single axle bogies whereby the latter are radially controlled. The points r, r<1> are fixed on the supporting bogie and have sliding connection with the arms of the end bogies which are pivotally connected to the vehicle parts at s, s<1> situated in front of, behind or coincident with the wheel axles h, h<1>. Fig. 5 shows the arrangement employing three vehicle parts a, a<1>, a<2> with two supporting bogies and two end bogies. The supporting bogies may be duplicated in all arrangements.
