[Class 120 (ii).] In a drawing or roving frame wherein the circumferentially ribbed top rollers b co-operate with a longitudinally ribbed supporting roller, the upper roller has end sections c of soft metal, vulcanized rubber, fibre, cork, leather, or similar material to take the thrust when the top and bottom rollers are in direct contact. Two coaxial top rollers b are arranged either firmly or loosely on a single shaft a. The top middle roller is weighted by a weight hung from a hooked arm attached to an exposed central portion of the shaft a. The ribbed section of the roller b may be formed of juxtaposed discs.
