386,870. Hydraulic transmission of power. JOYCE, J. A., 48, Warren Drive, Tolworth, Surrey. June 8, 1932, No. 16213. [Class 69 (ii).] In hydraulic power transmission mechanism comprising meshing wheels 4, 10, Figs. 1 and 2, pairs of recesses 18, 19 are connected by passageways containing control valves 21, byepasses controlled by non-return valves 43 being provided. The valves 21 may be slidable against springs 25 by levers 28, a slidable sleeve 34, and a hand-lever 41, or rotary control valves closed by centrifugal action may be provided.
