[Class 55 (ii).] In a centrifugal gas-scrubber of the kind described in Specification 1380/15, the liquid rising into each bowlshaped receptacle a is forced through interstices between bristles f revolving within each spraying chamber. A swirling movement is given to the gas by contact with the brushes. Each bowl carries a shell e, which is perforated to receive the bristles, and the top is closed by a truncated cone g.
