Abstract

385,405. Tables. FAUDELS, Ltd. and THOMPSON, F. B., 36, Newgate Street, London. Nov. 19, 1931, No. 32098. [Class 52 (iii).] In a table of the kind comprising a removable and reversible top, one side being for use as an occasional table and the other as a games table, the top being adapted to rest on the shaped or cut-away upper ends of the legs of the stand, a board provided with hinged flaps is attached to one surface of the top, the flaps being foldable onto the board or opened to form with the board a surface for playing cards ehess, draughts or other games. The table top 12 is circular and is secured through its rim 13 to a circular plate 15 carrying a square board 16. Triangular flaps 17 are hinged to the edges of the board and may either be folded over the board and secured by a catch 32 or be opened out to form a square surface for use in playing games. Receptacles provided with covers or slides may be provided in the plate 15 in the spaces between its rim and the edges of the board. The upper ends of the legs 26 of the stand are provided with recesses 30, 31 to receive the top.
