384,267. Switchgear structures. ROSSMAN PATENTS, Inc., 20, North Wacker Drive, Chicago, U.S.A. Feb. 17, 1931, No. 5026. Convention date, March 31, 1930. Void [Published under Sect. 91 of the Acts]. Drawings to Specification. [Class 38 (v).] The Specification describes and illustrates a metal-clad switchgear unit which is selfcontained and can be used singly or as part of a group of units in an indoor or outdoor substation. The units are all standardized and preferably mass-produced and each contains an oil circuit-breaker, bus-bars, current transformers, disconnecting devices, and framework (preferably of welded steel), completely assembled and wired ready for installation. A defective unit can be removed and replaced from stock. A plug-and-socket connector between the movable oil circuit-breaker and the fixed part of the gear is also described.
