May 4, 1931, No. 13099. [Class 38 (v).] In draw-out switch-gear, the tank A of the main oil circuit-breaker is cylindrical in shape with its axis horizontal, the contacts D in the closed position lying substantially on a diameter. The tank has convex ends A<1> and an insulating lining, and the joints at its ends may be welded as at A<2>.
