383,462. Fluid - pressure brakes. TEVES MASCHINEN UND ARMATUREN FABRIK GES., A., 23, Gustavsburgstrasse, Frankfort-on-Main, Germany. Dec. 28, 1931, No. 35819. Convention date, Dec. 27, 1930. [Class 103 (i).] In hydraulic brakes for aircraft or road vehicles wherein the brakes are applied equally, or differentially for steering, by a universallymounted lever 30 guided at one end 29 in a slideway through which it acts upon the pistons 23 of cylinders 18, 19 connected to the brakes, the slideway is disposed inside the housing 22 containing the cylinders so that the cylinders and actuating means form a unit capable of being built into the vehicle. The slideway comprises a beam 24 pivoted to the pistons 23, and a spring-pressed bar 25, both of which slide at their ends in slots 28 in the cylinders and between which the ball-shaped end 29 of the lever 30 engages, the middle position of the lever being insured by a groove 40 in the beam 24.
