381,067. Brush-holders and brushes for dynamo-electric machines. BOSCH AKT.-GES., R., 4, Militõratrasse, Stuttgart, Germany. Feb. 17, 1932, No. 4676. Convention date, Feb. 25, 1931. [Class 35.] In motors having brush holders capable of rocking, especially small motors with triple T-armatures for windscreen wipers, the brushes are mounted on pivots parallel to the commutator axis to render the bearing of brushes on the commutator more uniform. In the arrangement shown, the brushes f are carried in U-shaped holders e mounted on pivoted arms d drawn together.by a spring f. The brushes are secured to the holders by pivot pins h passing through the brushes. In a modification the brushes are secured rigidly to the holders e which are pivoted to the arms d.
