[Class 3 (ii.)] In a collapsable advertising model of the type wherein a member 9 simulating a cylindrical container or like article is projected forwardly from a supporting sheet 7 by means of a hinged strut 15, the member 9 is secured to the face of the sheet 7 opposite to that from which it is projected, but is allowed to move relatively to the sheet 7 or to fold flat partially behind it when the device is not in use by the provision of suitable scorings near the points of attachment. As shown in Fig. 2, the member 9, which is attached to the sheet 7 along the strips 9<1> and is scored at 10 .. 13, is caused to project through an aperture 8 in the sheet 7 by means of a hinged strut 15 having a semicircular profile. When it is desired to collapse the device, the strut 15 is folded about the lines 16 and the member 9 is folded inwardly about its scorings so that the lines 10, 12 lie against the outer edges of the strips 9<1> and the member 9 lies flat against the projection 17. A semicircular flap may be provided at the top of the aperture 8 to simulate the lid of the container. In a modification, Fig. 6, the member 9 completely surrounds the member 7, to which it is attached by the flaps 19a, 20a, the member 7 carrying upper and lower hinged flaps 21 which serve to project the front of the member 9 forwardly, and are also provided with projections 23 for engagement with the hinged parts 12<1>. A fingerhole 18 is provided for operating the members 23 when the device is in the collapsed position.
