Abstract

378,628. Feeding sheets. JAGENBERG-WERKE AKT.-GES., 107, Himmelgeisterstrasse, Dusseldorf, Germany. July 25, 1931, No. 21311. Convention date, Aug. 4, 1930. [Class 100 (i).] Blanks for making boxes are fed from a magazine 1 by suction cups 5 carried by a vertically reciprocating slide 4, the cups seizing the lower blank in the pile and pulling it down on to reciprocating rails 2 between stops 3 thereon ; the suction in the cup is broken, as the blank lies on the rails, by the opening of a spring-controlled flap valve 8 carried by a bellcrank lever 6 mounted on the slide 4 and actuated by a stop 7 which engages the end of the lever.
